Strength & Conditioning

Strength and conditioning sessions can be conducted either at your gym, (subject to gym approval) at you home or place of work, at the Perform:Fitness facility in Wimbledon, at a local park or at your training venue or sports club.

Perform: Fitness: also has access to a private gym in Wimbledon Village, South West London, where private strength & conditioning sessions can be conducted. The gym is linked to Physiocentric which is a highly professional physiotherapy clinic, with access to chartered physiotherapists, Pilates instructors and sports massage.

Strength & conditioning sessions can be conducted on a one to one basis or group sessions.

A needs analysis and physical activity readiness questionnaire (PAR-Q) will be completed prior to the start of any physical intervention. Once the personal goals and any previous health issues have been discussed and clarified then we can begin!

Such areas of training like HIIT (High Intensity Intermittent Training), Olympic lifting, compound lifting, circuits, body protection, core strength development, as well as specific targeted conditioning for an event, for example cycling sportive, 10k, half-Marathon or Marathon, expeditions, walking holidays or general conditioning can all be prescribed and focused on for the best outcome for the client/athlete.

Team sessions can be undertaken at your own training facility, local park or sports club, if required.
